Information Research and Learning Skills (IRLS)

Consult with an expert

Drop-in sessions, open to all students, are 15 minute sessions where you can discuss an aspect of your studies with a learning skills adviser. We can help you with: academic reading/writing, citing and referencing; exam preparation, note-taking, argumentation skills; preparing for tutorials, and study skills.

We collaborate with academic staff to embed, in the curriculum, the Research Skills Development Framework (RSDF) across the Faculties.

No bookings are required for drop-in sessions. For assistance requiring more time or for consultation with a small group schedule an appointment.
